My husband and I purchased this mattress about 8 years ago and paid around $3, 200! It was great to sleep on for around the first 9mths or so, and then we started getting stuck in the “dip” where you sleep. The mattress is now soft and very uncomfortable, and it has a bump in the middle just like regular mattresses. I toss and turn all night long and it very hard to sleep on. My hip and back hurt when I get up. I am sick that I spent so much money in a mattress that was only good for the first year! We complain about it all the time, but can’t afford to get another mattress right now.
Their sales pitch was that it wouldn’t get the typical dips that you would get with a regular spring mattress because of the 3-4” memory foam on top. If I could do it agin I would not purchase this mattress.

Pros:

The firmness of the memory foam does not last
Gets dips and bump in the middle like a regular mattress

We are a married couple with 3 children and have purchased our first King Mattress that was close to $3000 in Ocean County NJ--We bought this mattress in 4 yrs ago approx. in 2008 -2009 and are so UNHAPPY with this. I've had Sleepys come out to measure and as every OTHER review same story different family--the SAG wasn't enough to cover the warranty!
Sleepys offered to come out again and I'm going to pursue and see if there's any more sag in the mattress. They said they would work with us but of course couldn't offer us an credit close to what we paid for this--but at this point the mattress down right sucks. I sleep with 3 pillows - one against my back, one against my front and one either between my knees or under them--and still wake up sore. This mattress was supposed to offer no feel of movement from the other party---ha ha ha that's a joke too. I went to Sleepy's 5 or 6 times before I bought this bed--I'm just not sure what more to do to prevent this from happening AGAIN with any mattress.....
Won't buy another Simmons again if they don't step up or SLEEPY'S doesn't help us either.

My husband and I had never paid this much for a mattress, but after having 3 kids, decided we deserved (and needed) the best sleep possible. This bed was amazing at the store -- sold after laying down on it once! We agreed it was worth every penny... for about the first year. We had noticed a strange demarcation line down the length of the mattress about 1/4 of the way in from the edge, but the store assured us it was nothing. after a year, the foam in that area started sagging like crazy... like it was 2 different beds on either side of the line (my side of the bed BTW)

We had purchased a mattress protector and thank goodness we did because it was covered under warranty still... the store came and assessed it and agreed it was a manufacturers defect. Got it replaced. That was about 3 years ago.

Our mattress sags so deeply on both our sleeping sides now that even with the bed made, you can still see two indentations and a ride in the middle! I am starting to have hip pain and have even had to go to a chiropractor for the first time! My husband went away overnight for work and I tried sleeping one night in the middle of the bed (where it is still flat) and it felt like the mattress I remember. It is insane that a mattress this new and this expensive with this much 'technology' in it should be worn out to the point of causing us pain in just three years. Our last mattress, an old-fashioned spring coil, didn't look this worn until 11 years.

I'm so disappointed in this mattress. Please don't be fooled by first impressions... this mattress will literally let you down in a few years.
