I'm a bit baffled by all the negative reviews as we have had our Natures Rest Sierra Mattress for 10 years and it is still very comfortable. Never a problem with it. The pillowy top is still pillowy, It doesn't sag, no big indentations etc. We are big people - I'm 6 ft tall and 180 lbs and my husband is '6 ft 5 in. tall and 230 lbs. I googled it to find information about the type of latex used as I have become chemically sensitive. I found out it is Talalay Latex. I came across these reviews and thought maybe these people just got a "lemon" or something as we've been very happy with our matttress. I thought a review from someone who is not unhappy might balance all the negatives a bit.

We paid again..about $2k for our set..about nine years ago. We have now spent two years not sleeping well because it needs to be replaced. We had the service man for spring air come twice now and says the warrany is void because of a literally size of a dime spot on it. (that I probably could get out) It has a fifteen year warranty that was worthless. I have a whole like indentation on my side that I cannot sleep on at all. We are fortunate to have the company do a little swapsy for us...a little unheard of I guess. Lord knows what I'll do with the other mattress. ?? I would not buy another nature's rest. I would buy a Natura that is more recommended now.

Pros:

comfy for first few years

Cons:

waste of money...would have bought a cheaper mattress or spent more money for one that would last. We were told for every $100 you spend you should get a year out of the mattress. The foundation broke once...had it replaced, the mattress replaced once because the inside wasn't stitched in properly. Now have to spend more money for a new set all together. Ugh.....annoying.

I purchased a Nature's Rest latex mattress and box set for approx.$2K in July 2003(Isis model)which came with a 20 year non prorated warranty. The mattress began to sag in the middle and got worse over time until I could not get a good nights rest so I contacted the store I purchased from in Florida and they informed me that my 20 year warranty was worthless because Spring Air(makers of Nature's Rest)had gone belly up! I have since purchased a new Tempur-Pedic set with a real 20 year warranty and am very pleased.I understand Spring Air is back in business all I can say is buyer beware!!!!
