We bought the Nature's Rest Revive on the basis of my husband's extensive research. Mattress and box spring cost $4,000. Latex was supposed to be the way to go and NR's was highly rated. Well, the support aspect of the mattress sunk so badly within a few years that I flipped it over --- yep, the latex is now the bottom and the wood board is the top. Fancy that. I bought a 3" latex pad from Health Foundation and added two thick mattress covers. This mattress rig is serviceable and better than the NR system, but I am feverishly researching coil mattresses.

I bought my Queen size Nature's Rest Latex set in 2006. As of mid 2011 it shows no sign of sagging or indentations despite my current 245 pounds. Even the sides show no sign of denting. During this time I have lost over 30 pounds and had no change in comfort. The mattress is still supportive and pressure free. I keep a breathable waterproof cover on the bed, because I know that any stain will void the warranty on any mattress, and the bed still looks virtually brand new. I would purchase another in a heartbeat - but, so far, I see no reason not to expect this mattress' functional life to exceed its warranty.

Pros:

Good spinal alignment and support in any position. But without pressure.

Cons:

Although it is not required, I rotate it twice a year - it weighs a ton.

What a Waste of Money

We purchased our Nature's Rest Isis model king bed in 2003. A few months after purchase it was starting to sag. We called the store and they sent out a tech who said the problem wasn't bad enough to necessitate a replacement. The sagging continued to get worse so we called the store again after a few more months. This time the tech agreed there was a problem. The bed was replaced under warranty. Unfortunately the replacement bed developed significant sagging again within a year even though I weigh less than 180 pounds. We've lived with this piece of junk for long enough. As soon as I figure out what to replace it with this mattress goes to the land-fill.
