I bought a new mattress and box spring 2 years ago. It was a king set and cost 1600.00 dollars. Within one month we had a hump in the middle of the bed that makes it very uncomfortable to sleep. I wake up every time I turn and get to close to the hump. I had a pillow top before this set and never had a problem. I am terribly disappointed with this company and their products. I can't go out and buy a new set any time soon.

Very disappointed with my new Mattress Factory purchase just delivered yesterday. The one delivered had a very thin pillow top unlike the one in the store which had a thicker more plush top. The one delivered was very firm. The one in the store was extreemley comfortable. Will never purchase from them again.

We began our search after 12 years on a Simmons dual sided beautyrest. That mattress was great for 11.5 yrs then it began breaking down and back pain set in. We quickly discovered that mattresses were now almost exclusively 1 sided. We flipped/turned all along and wanted another dual sider, this led to OMF. We stared with a Ortho Lux firm which we liked in the showroom but hated almost from the first night. In order to keep the back pain from returning we had to flip/rotate every 2 wks. A tech came out and declared that the mattress met specs. I stared the search again and latex kept topping the list. I saw mattress sets that would have been cheaper than exchanging with OMF but as I dug deeper I found that the latex was Chinese made. Given the issues with toys and drywall there was NO WAY I was going with Chinese latex. This forum tipped me off to Latex Int'l, an American Manufacturer of latex. I went to their site and among many of the best reviewed brands OMF was on the list. We went back to the store on three sperate occasions this time and decided on the standard Latex Model. It has a Latex Int'l talalay core so we opted for the ehchange from our coil spring. Since its arrival the back issues are gone and we sleep better than ever. I go for routine chiropractic adjustments but they are less frequent now. My back muscles just relax on this mattress and allow me to get a great nights sleep. I don't like heat and worried about that, its a non issue as this mattress doesn't "sleep hot" . Some folks complain about OMFs exchange fee but we did this after about 6 months trying to get used to their coil spring model, most stores are 90 days. I am glad they stand behind their products with the 1 yr comfort warranty because otherwise I would have been out the full cost, I chose the coil unit first afterall. They are a business and while I would have preferred a no fee exchange at this point in life and knowing how much I like this mattress, I doubt any coil spring would have satisfied us. Coils may work for some folk but it is no longer our cup o tea. So do your research, learn about the ILD #s OMFs is a 32 and that suits us just fine. Look for the mfg of your latex or research the L.I. site and make an educated purchase. I heartily recommend OMFs Latex mattresses (there is another model with the same core and a softer latex pillow top, we didn't need it). I wouldn't recommend OMFs coil spring mattress or any other coil for that matter. We have left coils in the rearview, from here on out Latex is it.
