Very impressed with the expertise at Comfort Sleep. I really needed a firm mattress but was interested in something that was more eco-friendly. No off-gassing or crazy chemicals. I had read a lot about latex, more specifically talalay latex and became very interested in it. Comfort Sleep Systems makes several different mattress with talalay latex.

*Side note - before I bought my current mattress at Comfort Sleep, I bought a mattress in a box online from another company and it smelled and off gassed for several months and it never actually went away. I couldn’t take it anymore! So thats why the materials in the mattress were very important to me mattress shopping. You get what you pay for. end side note rant*

When I went to the Comfort Sleep showroom there were several different latex models to try out. I tend to like a firmer mattress so I gravitated towards the firmer side of the Blue Heaven (it comes in different firmnesses). Very firm but that is what I like! I also am very happy to say the mattress is flippable, meaning I can old school flip it over for even wear. I also had a choice of mattress ticking (not sure if they always do this) and I chose the natural cotton. They made it to order for me and I am happy as a clam! Best mattress & sleep!

BEWARE....

We bought a mattress and box springs from David @ Comfort Sleep Systems about a year ago. We wanted to keep our old box springs because they were in such good shape, but David said that it would void the warranty and that we had to buy the box springs that went with the bed. The box springs are not actually box springs, but wooden platforms that don't hold up to the weight of the mattress. The mattress is especially heavy and the box springs that Comfort Sleep Systems manufactures are not equipped to hold the weight. The mattress is sagging on both sides except for where the box springs meet each other in the middle of the bed. It's obvious that the box springs are not built strong enough to support the mattress! It is very uncomfortable and we are constantly having to re-adjust ourselves during the night to compensate for the problem. We contacted David about this problem and he told us to build supports for them from the underside of the box springs to the floor. We never had to do this with our old box springs, why should we do this with these? We asked him to come out and take a look at it and suggest ways to fix the problem. He had us take pictures, but he refused to come out to evaluate the situation. Even though the problem lies in Comfort Sleep Systems area, they refuse to do anything about the situation. When I got firm with David about the warranty and put the ball back in his court (without using fowl words) he said we were all done and hung up the phone on me!

Please be advised NOT to do business with this company because they do not back up their warranty claims! You can call me if you wish because I don't want you to be in the same situation that we are in after spending almost $4,000.00 with Un-Comfort Sleep Systems!
