After a lot of research and time spent in mattress stores my wife and I purchased a Dr Breus mattress few months ago, and have to the last 3 months have been the best sleep we have ever got.

It was really down to a Tempur Pedic Cloud and the Dr Breus mattress and we tried both mattresses in 3 different stores, wanted to lie down and feel them all to ensure same fell from place to place. We finally our way to a Sleepy’s in East Hanover where Bruce helped us make our final choose on what Dr Breus bed was right for us. After a few questions from the salesman Bruce he showed us the Platinum. We both really like a soft bed, and got a great deal on the Signature Platinum. Delivery and set-up of the mattress was quick and professional. One other note, the Dr Breus first night kit was really a neat bonus that came with the mattress.

I have had my Dr Breus Signature King now for over 2 months and all I can say is wow. I recently developed back pain after the birth of my child and my doctor sent me to a physical therapist who gave me an excercise routine that helped some, but I still wasn't back to feeling 100%. Then the therapist asked questions about the bed I was sleeping on, and ended up recommending that I look into some of the newer beds on the market. So I went into the store and tried out several of them, and ended up choosing the Signature Dr. Breus. With the combination of the exercises and my new bed, I have had absolutely no back issues since the very first night.

Wanted to tell you congradulations on your new Dr Breus mattress, and looks like you are loving it as much as I am.

I was not that lucky, the Breus beds i tried at home( monogram gold ) were significantly softer  and mushier than the one in stores so had to send them back. The bed had soft spots too. I believe one of the forum members here also had a bad experience with the Signature platinum, I guess its luck of the draw on who makes the bed that day and how well it was made. Few folks on Sleepys site have also experienced this inconsistency.

I like the signature plush which is about 40% latex and 60% soy foam. The signature plush has the traditional pillowtop and I believe it has Talalay and HD foam in the Pillowtop . I tried this bed at another store and it felt nice and firm but in another store if felt little mushy on one side , now sure why there is such inconsitency

Questions to you happy owners,

1) Is the bed get any softer after these few months or was it just like day one ( ofcourse every bed will get broken in but should not become mushier)

2) Not sure why these bruise are so expensive when 60% is polyfoam ( unless an argument can be made that the soy polyfoam will not break down any time soon and is high quality commanding more money)

I was a bit hesitant to get at first about the Dr Breus Bed, but now after my old spring mattress I can feel what a difference this bed makes and both my wife and me are sleeping a 1000 times better. We went to the store and tried out several of the models and ordered a signature Platinum. Although we lay down on the bed in the store, there I no substitute for sleeping on it. After the first night the bed was a little softer then we preferred, and my wife called back the store and told our salesperson Wendy the story. We both wanted something more firm, which is the Signature Elite. Wendy went through the exchange, a new Dr Breus mattress was delivered and it gets 4 thumbs Up from us best mattress we have ever owned.

I'm 38 and have never been a good sleeper.  About 10 years ago I splurged on a high end mattress that was very comfortable (still is), but it did little to help me actually sleep.  Upon moving to a new house I switched to a King bed and went to Sleepys where they put me on a Dr Breus.  It wasn't nearly as comfortable as my other one and it was mega expensive.  However, the sales person said, "I know it's not the most comfortable here, but it will be the best night's sleep you've ever had."  After some babbling about a guarantee, I took him at his word.  About 2 months later, I want to give him a hug.  This bed changed my life (to the point where I joined this message board, just to tell others).  After about a week period of adjusting to it, (in which like other users, I did have some aches from just getting used to the "cushy" feel), I sleep like a rock.  I get excited to go to bed now and when I hop in, I'm out like a light in 20 minutes not to wake up until morning.  I used to toss and turn, get up frequently, and never feel rested.  I feel great in the morning, don't need as much sleep, and have even lost weight.  Yeah, it's been that good.  I can't promise you will all feel the same way, but this was one of the best purchases I've ever made.  I would trade away nearly everything in my house before the bed.  If you're on the fringe about spending that much money, I can't tell you how happy I am to pay that bill every month.

We recently bought the Monogram Gold King set.  It was delivered on Friday.  It was WAY softer than the one we laid on in the store.  My husband and I actually took pictures of how far we sunk into the one at the store vs. the one we received.  In the store, laying on my side, you can see the entire knee cap of my bottom leg.  At home, it's completely sunk into the bed.  My husband, who is a hot sleeper to begin with, was smothered by the bed wrapping around him and was incredibly hot.  He ended up on the sofa.  The next day we went back to Sleepy's explained the situation.  They said, it was probably a defective mattress and did an even exchange for us.  The new bed arrived this morning.  Same situation.  Took more pictures.  I sink just as much in the new bed.  We're not sure if it's a difference between the queen model in the store vs. the king that we purchased or just an incredible inconsistency with Dr. Breus in general.  I called Sleepy's this morning.  I was told to contact 1-800-Sleepy's to discuss a comfort exchange.  I did so, explained the inconsistency, and they are waiving the comfort exchange fee.  We will probably still have to choose an equal or more expensive mattress, though.  So much for just switching to the firmer model!  Although, I may be turned off from Dr. Breus in general.

We purchased the Dr Breus King Size Signature Elite mattress set and after going through several mattresses in the past 15 yrs because of continuous lower back problems, i finally found a bed that solves my sleepless nights and also something my wife loves. My wife approval was also a critical and important point because she has always favored the softer mattresses. So finding the bed that we both could enjoy and rest comfortably has been quite a task over the past 15yrs.

This Dr Breus bed was just what we have been looking for. We purchased this back in the first part of the year and one the biggest problems we had had in the past was that after the first 3-4 months it seemed as if our old mattresses would loose some of it's shape and form around my body creating additional issues when i slept. Also many of our past mattress sets; I would wake up somewhat hot. Now it could be that i'm a little large but i just knew there was something on the market that could maintain the great back support, have that subtle softness everyone likes in a mattress, and keep me cool....that was the Dr Breus Signature bed sets. Great value price wise within our budget and seems to be well manufactured.

I would say "It's just what the Dr ordered" no pun intended.

I started this thread to share my option and review of Dr Breus Bed after my purchase, and it’s interesting to see how competing bed makers troll and fill untruths such as jenn4pc and macksdad24 has done above.  Also would like to encourage people to search around other areas of the internet i.e facebook, shopping websites that have verified user reviews, twitter, ect. to get reviews that are not this black and white. Using these other places to search for reviews, potentially you will find someone you know that has purchased this bed and be able ask them.

I would like to bring this thread back on topic, and update people about my purchase. Now after five months my wife and I love our bed. We own a small home down on Bradley Beach and thinking about buying a little less expensive mattress, the monogram for our home there since summer is here and we are spending more time at the beach. Hopefully someone will have a sale on this bed soon, so I can replace it with the exact Signature Platinum we have now.

I purchased a Dr. Breus bed, Ultra Gold Queen months ago, and can attest to a wonderful night's sleep.  If you enjoy a soft, comfortable bed, this is the one for you.  But...if you like a hard or semi-hard bedding surface, this will not work.

I had problems sleeping and have had bad surgery in the past.  This bed feels like sleeping on air; there are no hard spots that wake you up during the night.  It really is the answer for me.  Once I lay down for the night, I go right out to sleep--it's amazing!!  The Dr. is in our home now!!

Thank you, Dr. Breus, you are a lifesaver.

Sweet Dreams Everyone.
