This Is Both A Question And A Review I Recently Brought The Miralux Splendor Firm and Not even a good week and I feel like the mattress is sinking the middle as well as on my side. I throught Sleepy's was the best to buy from but i find that to be not so good. i brought it for my back problem but yet Still have pain.
And It seems it's going to cost me more in fees to exchange it according to sleepy's about 700.00 more With new delivery fees .

Is There Anyone Else Out There That Purchase a miralux Spendor. Please Tell Me What You Think.

My wife and I were unfortunate shoppers in Sleepy's looking for a mattress. The slick salesman steered us away from all the "name brands" saying how much they are overpriced. Ha! The only difference between the reputable brands and this Mirlaux is the amount of commission the salesman made!

Our first experience with this mattress resulted in me calling within two weeks to Sleepy's management who replaced the mattress no questions asked. (they know it's garbage!) The hole I ended up trying to sleep in was worse than the mattress we got rid of after 20 years! We're now on our second Miralux that I wanted my money back from because it's also developed a "hole" after a few weeks of use. My mistake was in trying to live with it, and I went weeks beyond the 21-day "sleep comfort" span - another joke by Sleepy's. We had a so called "mattress inspector" come to our house to "inspect" the mattress. He threw a string a cross the bed and placed a spray can top with a ruler glued to it (VERY professional device!) It measures an inch and a quarter. Of course this does not measure the 4+ inches the mattress sinks in when you lay on it. This is just another con-artist ploy by the mattress industry to avoid servicing the customer with warranty complaints. Of course Sleepy's told us we're out of luck since the mattress didn't register an inch and a half of sway! The rude and obnoxious Sleepy's representative told me "hey, it was YOUR personal decision to buy that mattress!" So much for relying on the "PROFESSIONAL" salesman, who steered us into that mattress so fast, we should have gotten whiplash. We were so stupid!

I am now awaiting the second "inspection" of this so-called mattress. When I get my 1 and a half-inch sway, I am curious to see how accommodating the "Mattress Professionals" will be. My wife hasn't slept in the bed since a few days after we got it. Bottom line is this folks - DON'T buy a Miralux mattress and PLEASE DON'T buy from Sleepy's. They're ONLY concern is profit and commission, certainly not YOUR comfort. Their ads and corporate creed is nothing but BS. With all the complaints against the Miralux line and the Sleepy's company, I am surprised there isn't a class-action lawsuit.

Pros:
there are NO PROS to this piece of junk product or company who sells them

Cons:
WAY Overpriced!
Sinks in beyond comfort - not the same as in the store
Retains impression and causes discomfort and huge difference in sleeping levels
Backaches everynight
Sleepy's was very deceptive in sales tactics to swing us into this brand - don't buy there!
Sleepy's was not accomodating in service after sale - all they want is YOUR money!

I recently purchased the Miralux Rapture PT and it is a horrible bed. It feels cozy in the store but didn't take long for me to realize the bed is hard and uncomfortable when you try to sleep on it for 8 hours. I wake up with upper and lower back pain and chiropractic adjustments are only temporarily working.

Also the warranty is worthless. It says that you have to rotate the bed once the first 2 weeks and then once ever 2 to 3 months for it to take effect.

If this keeps up I will end up donating this bed to charity. I cannot have to many more nights where I don't get a deep sleep and wake up groggy.

DH and I have a platform bed. When I bought it I got a mattress specially designed for platform bed use. Unfortunately after 10 years, a "crater" began to develop...I also didnt rotate like I was supposed to. DH and I started looking in the 500 dollar range and were very dissapointed in the comfort at that price range. We kept going up until I layed down on the Miralux. I didnt want to get up. The mattress cover is soft...like a baby's blanket. It was a little less firm than my husband would have liked but in the store it was on a box spring. It was just delivered and once on the platform bed, the firmness is perfect! We got a great price on it and can't be happier

I bought this mattress from Sleepy's and it is the worst purchase I have ever made. After the first night on the mattress, my back was very sore. I'm a 29 year old male at 6-foot 180 pounds, and it still made my back sore. I tossed and turned all night long on this junk. Maybe the king size is too much for this mattress. It sags in the middle when i lay on it. It's like i'm layong on a lazyboy chair.
