Bed received was NOTHING like bed I previewed in store. I would get a better night sleep on my hardwood floor! The one at store was soooo comfortable! I don't even want to sit on this one, little lone think about sleeping on it. I am a flight attendant and sleep on different beds a lot. This is by far the worst. Don't buy this mattress.

Like sleeping on the floor. Is not at all the same bed as at the store.

This mattress was delivered on March 18. From night 1, this mattress caused me great pain. The pain has escalated to greater pain, and when I wake up, I feel 'cold' sensations in parts of my torso...even though I am warm and my skin is covered. The skin is not cool to the touch, I just feel as though the area is cold. In addition, on the 13th day, I noticed that one corner of the bed base had broken down. Upon closer inspection, it was clear to anyone that the mattress had been stood on its corner. The metal bracket corner protector was bent and obviously straightened. The entire corner/side of the base caved inward. This bed was installed by the delivery personnel. We have never moved it. We immediately contacted Sealy. They sent an 'engineer' who determined this was 'normal wear and tear.' Well, if this is normal wear and tear after 13 days, I HATE TO SEE WHAT THIS BED WILL LOOK LIKE IN A YEAR. Whats worse, this bed was only slept on 8 times in the 13 days we had it! Sealy will do NOTHING to help us. We had hoped to resale this brand new mattress and recover some of our expenses, so that we could purchase a different mattress, BUT WHO THE HECK WANTS TO BUY A MATTRESS WITH A BROKEN DOWN BASE!

THIS PRODUCT STINKS. THE SERVICE STINKS. THE AFTER SERVICE STINKS.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BED UNTIL YOU SLEEP ON ONE. THIS MEMORY FOAM ACTS LIKE TEMPERPEDIC AT FIRST, BUT AFTER A COUPLE OF HOURS OF LAYING ON IT, IT IS NOTHING, NOTHING LIKE TEMPERPEDIC.

Go with the temperpedic. At least they have an in home trial. I would rather be out shipping costs than be out the $1600 for a crappy mattress set that is uncomfortable and falls apart.

sealy sucks.

Upon buying this mattress, the store salesman felt that this was a good choice considering my weight which I fully discussed with him. He did not however, suggest that I buy a mattress protector because this mattress acts like a sponge for any sweat at all. There was a moisture buildup problem both on the underside of the mattress and on the top of the box spring and the box spring already is showing signs of breaking down on my side. Thus, the warranty is now apparently voided according the the Sealy rep I spoke with yesterday. I am very angry and disappointed. It is not comfortable for anyone who is very overweight and under those circumstances I would stay far away.

Pros:

Husband sleeps on it fine

Cons:

Poor support for heavy people
Poor foundation for heavy people
Acts like a sponge for sweat which the company and saleperson at local store acted like they had never heard of being a problem which in turned ruined and stained underneath mattress and top of box spring.
