Bought 2 twin beds (nordic) from this store in Berkeley, CA. Chose beds in showroom, but one of the beds that was delivered was NOT the correct configuration. Foam was cut too large for zipped cover. When unzipping cover, found that foam piece was NOT what was shown in store, in this model of bed. Bed felt different than model chosen in store.
Returned foam piece, to exchange for correct foam piece at warehouse. Found much to be desired when looking in warehouse---unclean looking facility. Was also not given correct replacement foam piece, so decided to return both beds. Lack of confidence in this store, did not feel that what you see in showroom is what you actually get delivered. Could not determine if bed parts were even new, could possibly be replacement parts from returned beds from the way the warehouse setup looked.
Do not trust this manufacturer. Owner is at Berkeley showroom, and is very confrontational and rude.

Pros:
Local store. Initially feels great, but latex makes you sweat. Nice showroom, very "Berkeley" feeling. Pretty colored sheets on bed models in store!
Cons:
Latex used in bed makes you sweat. Not only me, but younger son would wake up sweaty in neck area. Could not determine that foam used in bed was new/used/replaced from another bed. Did not get bed delivered that I'd chosen in store. Foam too big to fit in cotton zipped cover. Cotton cover was very thin, minimal padding used in cover, so latex foam felt almost directly thru cover. |
