Wool Bedding recommendations

I am looking to get a wool mattress topper instead of a feather bed and wool sheets and blankets. Does anyone have experience with wool bedding?  Would you recommend it? I am also looking for any recommendations for where to purchase these types of items. Thanks

Don't have time to look it up but there was a thread here about a month ago about wool toppers. Try the search engine here and see if you can find it.
I like wool but if it's too thick it CAN throw off the support of the mattress just enough that some sensitive folks might notice. I have a 2" one and though it flattens down to about 1/2", I still think it made my back hurt. I could be wrong.

But overall I love the feel of wool. And it's cool in summer, warm in winter. Maybe a 1" thick one would be the best recommendation I could personally offer.

Hello africamp, I like wool bedding. Some of my posts contain info on my experience with wool toppers. Here are the links to some threads: http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/forum/wool-toppers/7221-0-1.html http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/forum/my-flobed-came/7554-0-1.html My most recent one is under a "cooler memory foam" thread I think, but I can't seem to locate it easily. Unfortunately, the search feature of this forum doesn't seem to work all that well, at least not in my experience. I wish there were an easier way for new folks to find the info they need in past posts. I'm having formatting problems (can't get my recent posts to display into paragraphs), so they are hard to read, so enough for now. Linda
