I changed this because of another post from another person.  No I am not a sales man I got that bed thought it was great but we ended up not liking it in the long run. But they gave us the chance to switch it or a refund. They offer a 60 day test peroid where they will rebuid the bed for us at no charge. We did just jump in to buying this with out looking around. So we decided to look around on the internet to see what people had to say. I guess we jumped the gun on posting on there. So I wanted to find out what others thought.  I saw a lot on here about latex beds and since they had this bed I talked about I wanted peoples unbiased thoughts on verlo. We do like this one so far but we are not going to post on another site untill we have this one for a year or so. So no I am not a salesman, I work for UPS and do deliver boxs for a living. I am not a fan of sales people nor do I ever want to be one. They have a hard job and have to rely on sales to make a living. I would rather just drive and deliver packages and get a pay for the hours I work it seems more steady to me. I was just looking for others to help me with not knowing any back ground. So I guess you jumped all over me for no reason! I think that is very rude, but thank you to everyone else for your help. I would tell any one to go to this site for help with bedding you are all very smart and know what you are talking about. Thank you all.

Which resources have you actually tried to "help yourself"?  You may find the forum search feature to be useful . . example.  Epinions reviews.

I have looked on there some there is not too much on 2 sided matts vs 1 sided matts or no flip. I was just asking if any one knew. I thought that is what this mattress site is for. I read on there and they had good and bad about all mattress kinds. About verlo it self there were just a few and nothing to really help point me in any direction.

I checked out their website and they look like nice beds! I like the fact that they have 2-sided mattresses. Myself, I've never heard of Verlo, but that's just because we don't have them where I live. I would definitely consider one of these mattresses if I were you. I noticed they seem to use quality materials.

You might try Googling to see if anyone else has anything to say about Verlo. Good luck!

I live in Oshkosh and I have a verlo mattress factory in my town. My wife and I have been shopping for a new mattress. We are looking for a king set something soft. We went to Verlo and a few other shops in town. Every one else carrys no flip mattress set and Verlo has the 2 sided sets still. They tell me that is the best way to go and I am trying to get the truth. Does any one have any thoughts on this or what they have done for their selfs? And if any one has info or storys about verlo I would like to hear them so I know they sould great but I dont know if it is to go to be true. Please help thank you.

I just saw some reviews for Verlo mattresses at Epinions.com. Some were fine, but I also noticed some bad reviews, too. You might want to check it out.

No-flip mattresses are the latest gimmick manufacturers use to limit the life of a mattress and force you to buy a new one much sooner than you would have to with a high quality double-sided mattress. No-flip mattresses feature an innerspring unit with several layers of foam--usually cheap low density PU and sometimes visco of unknown density on one side of the springs only, all of which quicky compress and soften to the point where the mattress is no longer comfortable.

I would absolutely agree that 2-sided mattresses are preferable to the no-flip variety. What you should look for is a sturdy innerspring unit made with heavy gage coils and as little built-in padding as possible. It's better to add you own comfort layers which can be tweaked, changed or added to any time your needs change without replacing the mattress.

Cloud9, I agree with you that the 2-sided mattress that can be flipped over is being replaced by the no-flip mattress so the customers will have to replace mattresses more often. I agree that it is best to tweak your own layers and change toppers when they wear out or change layers when comfort needs change.   I like the idea of the Kings Down Mattress with the zippered pillow top that can be replaced or latex kit mattresses or buying the firmest mattress and buying comfort layer toppers for it that can be replaced.

Lynn, I couldn't agree more. I think all mattresses should have a zippered top and components that can be swapped out and customized like the latex mattress kits from Flobeds and SleepEZ or the wonderful hybrid mattress BeddyBye got from a local merchant.

Thank you all so much for the help. We ordered our bed last night and it is going to be delivered on tuesday. I can believe they are going to make it  on monday. They custom make each one. We had them make it a little firmer so they are going to at no charge. We got the King Canterbury it is 2 sided with 3" of latex foam on each side. It sounds great. There is a 15 year guarantee on the set. and I asked if any thing voids that out or how they handel problems and they actually pick it up, fix it and return it the same day. for free. Nothing voids that out either for 15 years. They said they use a 13 gage coil the best you can get they told me. We are so excited I cant wait to go to bed on tuesday. Thank you again for the help I will let you know how it goes in a few days. I hope this about verlo can help other people too. They Verlo.com web site is great too. Thank.

Runerroad, I saw you post on epinion.com from Mar 14, 08. . . it's below.  Are you a salesman? (naughty naughty!)

This is a great mattress set. We got a king size set. This was our first mattress from verlo. Our last one was a Simmons and it was a no flip set by 6 months we had 2 people size holes in the mattress and they came to look at it and told us there was nothing they could do. That was a $1200 mistake. Now that we have our verlo we have no problems. It is so nice to flip our bed and keep it flat. The sales man was very smart and knew his product well. Every thing we great. I will never own another mattress set from any one else. I am getting my kids beds there once we get our tax return back. Thank you verlo you are great!
