A year ago we purchased 2 beds for our kids from Savvy Rest and have slept on them ourselves too.  Just recently, our Sleep Number bed had started giving us issues so we decided it was time to look into the natural latex bed for us.  We need to have the ability to customize each side, don't want to breathe all the chemicals that are put into standard mattresses to make them flame resistant, want a long term mattress, eco friendly, etc.

My husband saw that Sleep EZ natural & organic king mattress was about $500 LESS than the 'comparable' Savvy Rest.  Luckily he suggested to get the free samples for "apples to apples" comparison.  And we are glad we did!
We compared the Soft/Medium/Firm Dunlap layers and found that:

a)  The Sleep EZ (Latex Green) layers had more of a 'chemical' odor vs the Savvy Rest (Coco Latex) which smelled more natural.
b)  The Sleep EZ had much larger holes!  Thus using less of the latex and holes were all in rows.  Savvy Rest had tiny holes on one side of each layer for the body zone, providing softer side to each piece and slightly larger holes on the other.   Plus the rows are staggered.  Sort of like seating in a theater.  This we felt provided more strength & durability.
c)  The latex itself, to touch, felt of better quality from Coco latex (Savvy Rest) than the Latex Green.

Bottom line, before you plunge in....take advantage of the FREE samples the companies offer.  You can tell a lot from them.  Granted you can't sleep on these brick sized samples but you will get the picture of the quality latex you will be sleeping on.
We bit the bullet and went ahead with the Sleep Savvy, split all the way! 

And if you get enough of them you can make a pillow!
