In September of 2007 we bought a Stearns and Foster mattress from Crystal Coast Mattress, Highway 70 in New Bern, NC,  paying $999. (Bouquet Cushion Firm Queen Matt-S&F)  It has been the worst mattress we have ever purchased.  To top it off we can get no response from Stearns and Foster. Good luck with any "warrabty" given with the Stearns. After 3 years the mattress started sagging and got considerably worse.  After emails to Stearns & Foster along with phone calls we have given up hope getting any satisfaction and bought a Serta.

On the sale side, the salesman at Crystal Coast Mattress actually talked us into this higher priced mattress after we had tentatively selected a cheaper mattress from another company.  Not only will we not ever buy another Stearns & Foster mattress, we will never do business with Crystal Coast Mattress either.

Just this week we bought a Serta from America's Mattress in New Bern and are quite sure it will be much better than the Stearns.
