Snugfleece question

Anyone have any recommendations between the different snugfleece and snugsoft models? I want to buy one tonight with the 30%off code from dreamsoftbedware.com (LaborDay09). We'll be putting it on top of 8" of latex.
I think I want one of the ones that is washable because we have a 5 month old and dry cleaning is likely not to happen! This may sound stupid, but is 65oz wool more absorbent than 40oz? And as for the thickness of the mattress pad, will it impact the feel of latex if we have 1" of wool? 1 1/4" of wool? 1 1/2" of wool? Thanks for any insight you can offer! The prices are significantly different, so if I go with the elite I want to know WHY I'm choosing it, ya know?

I ordered the Elite mattress pad because I just learned that wool can absorb up to twice it's weight, and since the Elite is 65oz wool I figure it will absorb more in the event that my little one has an accident while in our bed. The amazon regular prices are comparable (in fact, one was exactly the same as Dreamsoftbedware, but that makes sense as dreamsoftbedware was the seller on amazon). I got 30% off that price so the Elite ($258) was $180.60. Certainly the most I've ever spent on a mattress pad, but hopefully it's worth it!

Could you please report back in a month or more to tell us what you think of your wool toppers please? Thanks. Sure thing! I'll review my whole new setup. :-)

Electracat -
I looked into getting this wool mattress pad from foam source: http://www.foamsource.com/shop/product/73 It's the o-wool organic water resistant mattress pad and the queen (w/ straps) is $219. It seemed like it would have the benefits of wool without the loft of the snugfleece.
I know I read somewhere that a wool blanket would work but that it's hard to keep it in place. I have no personal experience with it, though!
Good luck!
