Ready to make my first latex mattress purchase: HELP!!!

Ok, ok -- did enough research to convince myself that a latex mattress is the way to go for me now. I have looked at Latex International for information and several of the manufactores who use their product. Thus far -- I know I want a size queen mattress made with latex foam manufactured using the Talalay process because it's exceptional durability and resilience. Hopefullly, it will be a mattress that is within my budget ($1200-$1800). This is what I need help with,. Which of the so many makers/companies would you suggest I consider. I have narrowed it to the following companies: Sleep EZ, FloBeds, PureRest Organics and Habitat Furnishings. What is your personal experience with your mattresses with any of these companies? How satisfied are you with their costumer service, policies and overall product? If there is another company you prefer, would you share such information? Thanks so very much for all of your assistance. I can't wait to order my new latex bed soon!!! Lastly, would you recommend that I also purchase a foundation/box? I believe that I want to have a lower bed and having a box will make bed tall...What do you think?

I just purchased a FloBeds all natural bed. I like it very much. They currently have a sale on. If you want to know more I have a thread where you can get quite a bit of information, "Just bought a FloBeds." Here is the link to there web site. http://www.flobeds.com/latex/index.htm

I also bought my bed from Flobeds. I would recommend them over some of the others because 1) you can exchange layers of latex if, after you receive it, you find you need your bed to be firmer or softer and 2) it comes with a 90 day comfort guarantee. If you find out you just don't like your latex bed you can return it for a full refund.
The Habitat Furnishings latex is from Sri Lanka, it is not Latex International latex. Just something to consider.
PureRest Organics really doesn't provide much information about where they are sourcing their latex. Also their beds are not customizable like the Flobed mattress is.
SleepEz says that it uses THREE sources for their latex: Dunlopillo UK, Latex Internationl USA, and Radium Foam thru Sleep Comp West. So you may not be getting LI latex.
Personally, I would only buy LI latex. It's the only latex I would feel confident about having the quality standard I am paying for. But that is just my opinion.
Another company you could consider is sleeplikeabear, which sells LI Talalay latex layers and mattress covers. They don't have the same return policy as Flobeds, but they are a shade less expensive.
