Ok- I'm a single guy, 24, with a current bedroom about 10' x 15'. Obviously queen would fit much better, but I have always wanted to get a king. I am not going to be living here for much longer, but I do plan on moving around here and there. Would I be better off with a queen size for moving purposes? Or should I get the king size playground? (hey I'm a bachelor..)

If you want a king there's no reason not to get it. You'll need to keep the room completely uncluttered with a bare minimum of furniture for now. But if you buy a Queen, then move and get a much larger bedroom you might regret not getting the king.

Moving it shouldn't make much difference and might actually be easier since a King will have two smaller foundations, easier to get through some doorways or up stairs than a one piece Queen size foundation.

Unless you're a huge dude, I'd stick with the queen.   I like a roomy bed, but a queen is fine for me.      A big caveat would be unless you see three-ways in your future - the a king is probably worthwhile.
