Does anyone know anything about this all latex bed from the natural bed store in San Rafael, California. It has a cotton and wool cover and then 4 1/2 inches of talalay and 6 inches of Dunlop medium underneath that. It is very expensive although very comfortable so I wondered if anyone knew anything about it.

Thank you

I visited that store in Palo Alto.  The salesman didn't get up to help me and when I asked if they had all latex mattresses, he muttered about those mattresses there they have prices.  I found no description of what the mattresses were other than "firm", some with prices.  Even after I started trying them out and poking at the covered, he didn't bother to help me.  I walked out.  There are other stores in that area that sell latex mattresses (these are the ones I visisted and there are probably more in SF but I hate trying to park in SF and public transpo is too slow and I didn't look closely in East Bay as I live in South Bay). Reclaim Home in Menlo Park has Savvy Rest and you can try all the combinations.  Earthsake in Berkeley has latex mattresses (all organic) prices weren't too bad and they have sales from time to time.  Ergo Sleep Systems in Berkeley has Pure Latex Bliss, Natura and a couple of other bizarre foam/gel mattresses.  And of course McRoskey.  They had a spring, wool, latex double sided (yes, you can flip and rotate it) mattresses that was to die for, but at $3900, it seemed a tad bit too expensive for what you get.

I've never heard of Eco-Cloud and they don't say where there latex comes from, how green it is, etc.  At higher prices, I expect 100% natural latex from a reputable vendor.

Everyone one of the latex mattresses I tried felt good to me.  But it's unclear which one is going to feel just as good 5-10 years from now.  Personally, I've been leaning toward the three layers of 3" foam to make it easy to replace.  If I hadn't gotten a really good deal on a Savvy (I bought a bed too), I probably would have bought a SleepEz.com mattress.
