Laying on it in the store if felt really soft.  After sleeping on it, while comfortable, it didn't feel as soft as in the store.  Do these soften up over time like memory foam?  I currently have a cheap mattress pad on it, would it be worth while to get a more plush mattress pad to get that extra softness even though its a pillowtop?
