Hi, I've seen this matress advertised. It's supposed to be new but damage by the courier has left it with a kink as seen below. Would this affect the feel of the mattress much, or is it just cosmetic damage?

What brand of mattress is this?  Vi-Spring, Hypnos? 

It looks pretty bad, I wouldn't touch it unless I needed a free mattress for my 3 year old grandson....even then, I'd feel guilty.  I can't imagine how that would happen and how structurally is messed everything up.

The border rod has been bent in handling. You can straighten it somewhat by bending in the opposite direction but the coils inside will still be "stepped".

Thanks, it was an ebay auction which has ended now. The mattress was a John Lewis Premier 1. I was considering taking a chance on it at 400 pounds, but in the end it sold for 700.
