What combination is a pretty standard build on here? I am looking at a 5 1/2inch 5 zoned latex core with a 2 inch soft latex topper.. Will this be enough?  I am 160lbs!

I defer to the veterens here to help you, as I am new to latex and layering.  There are a lot of sellers of the materials, and it can seem quite daunting at first.  If there is a retailer near you that carries latex, by all means visit and try to get the real feel of a latex mattress.

Basic rule I think is start with a firm base, maybe a dunlop, and work up to soft, like a talalay top.
