Latex Mattress Help

After much reasearch on latex mattress, my wife and I have narrowed down our search to either Vivetique latex mattress or a Savvy Rest I like the idea of the Savvy rest individual layers, though my main concern with the mattress would be that I will be able to feel the slit down the middle of the mattress where the two latex pieces meet. I would love to hear how everyone on the board that has a Savvy Rest feels about this.

Thanks for any help.

We have a Savvy rest split king. As we don't sleep in the middle, it is no problem. We do "straighten out" the latex layers about every other month. If you are concerned, it is possible to split the two lower layers and leave the top layer "whole".

AndrewD, I just checked out the Savvy Rest website and it sure looks like a nice product with a sturdy bed made with very good materials.  Which configuration do you plan to go with?  Please keep us updated.

My husband and I sleep in the middle and we do not feel the split down the middle of the mattress.  This was a concern of mine as well, so we bought a full piece topper.  The topper is no longer our top layer.  We're still trying to configure our layers, but as we have similar body height and weight, we're discovering that we pretty much like the layers stacked the same way.  If the layers were very different (as we tried one night), then you would definitely notice a difference.  If her side is very soft and yours very firm, you will definitely feel the difference sleeping in the middle.  The only way to know is to try.  However, maybe if you both liked the same top layer, you wouldn't notice as much of a difference.  :-)
