I've decided to purchase the S-scape and because of allergies (and hopes of greater comfort) am planning to purchase a latex mattress for the first time.  Any advice is welcome.

Does anyone have experience with the latex mattress sold with the S-scape at the Original Mattress Factory?  Here are the specs:  http://www.originalmattress.com/serenity/overview  I'm concerned because you MUSt purchase their mattress with their bed.  They seem to be the only S-cape dealer locally, though other Leggett and Platt models are available from others.

The Richmond online site also has a latex mattress they carry to go with the S-scape.  http://www.richmondbedding.com/certi-pur-us-latex-mattress/

Katydid.  You said that you were looking at this mattress because of allergies.  What allergies do you have?  I looked at the site you referred to and you will be happy to know that it does not appear that you need to purchase the set together.  On their pricing page there is a price for the set and mattress only.  Mattdud.
