I am thinking about making a bed for my latex mattress.  I know from reading this site that the latex needs to breath to avoid condensation type issues.  Will a bed/platform that has storage cubes around the perimeter be an issue.

Take a look at the attached picture for what I am thinking of building (attached picture is for a full size bed).  The cubes will be 17" or so deep so I will have 42" long slats. Is this enough for the mattress to breath?

Thanks,

Dan
