will go on my new costco latex, the 3 inch i have is too thick randy, why are you using a topper on the latex mattress? Did you sleep on the latex mattress without the topper and if you did how did it feel? Is the latex mattress hot to sleep on by itself? I weigh 200 lbs. thanks randy.

I'd go with senus or venus. pink or blue foam. Check it out randys, both the latex and the mem foam did the exact opposite for my body than what the claims are. Once again I got up at 2am and took all the foam off my bed and laid a sheet of DENSE foam on my air bed, I don't know what it is but I am going to find out. It was on the bottom of my fake sleep number bed. I took that bed back to Costco but I got to keep the foam! All they wanted back was the bladders. For the 1st time in over two weeks my neck wasn't killing me while I was laying down and my hands and sides did not go numb. Nor was I HOT. It wasn't till last night that I knew BOTH latex and mem foam are HOT. Here is a place that sells the REAL DEAL colored foam: www.foambymail.com absolutecomfortonsale.com There are a LOT of foam shops on line. If you don't live in a small town go look at this stuff BEFORE you buy it. I now have a stack of f----ing foam I will never use. I am going to try and pass it off but I should say, oh so LOUD, buyer beware. I tried a 3 inch mem on MY Costco latex and it was awful. I was going to say it but this is learn by doing and my experience is nothing like yours. I learned a "hard" lesson on here but at least I needed the futon mattress and the foam can go camping or get sold on Craig's list. Did you read my post about selling some of our stuff to each other. I agree the products on foam by mail (foamdistributing.com) are superior, and I have insider information (that I gathered rather sneakily) that foamdistributing's supplier is Foamex.

MY latex bed is/was hot but it could have been the 2 inch latex topper from Overstock. Everyone says they are not "natural" and yet no really wants to claim it's a blend. I called them and they say it is not. It is moist in the morning!! My daughter loves it, I did not and am still dealing with my neck pain but each night i sleep w/o soft foam I get better. Angels sleep on clouds and air, so do I. Alice |

randy, why are you using a topper on the latex mattress?
Did you sleep on the latex mattress without the topper and if you did how did it feel?
Is the latex mattress hot to sleep on by itself?

thanks randy. 1. because for 2 months i slept on a tempurpedic and the luxurious feeling you get when sleeping on first class foam is far superior, for me, to latex but, my back would be hurting by 3 am, so got rid of temp 2. felt great for my back, so i highly recommend you get it when they get more in stock 3. to some degree yes, not sure how hot yet as it is winter 4. i weigh 185 and suggest the latex for sure

Alice thanks to alice and everyone else, i will try foambymail and then if that doesnt do it thanks to sandman i will try his idea too...you are all so wonderful.. foam by mail doesnt have foam toppers, i am missing something i guess - they have a talalay latex foam topper, is that it? ok more research done...i see what they have, awesome...not sure what to get but this is the place
