My son is attending college and the school has given him a 36" x 90" bed.....I can't find sheets for this size at all anywhere.  Does anyone know what this size is?  I was thinking something like Twin XXXL but that does not seem to exist.  Help!?  - danny

Oh wow that's a tough one.  Twin XL's are 38 x 80 or 39 x 80 ... but 90" long, that really sounds like custom made.

I thought twin XL was the standard for dorm rooms.

Even a Cal King is only 84" long.  You're saying the mattress is 90" long?

I would request another bed for sure.

Even twin comforters are only about 86" long!

I think the key here is "tall college athlete".  If you are 7' tall, they can't really give you a standard twin bed.  Perhaps you can contact the college (houseing deptartment or athletic department, perhaps?) and ask them if they know where you can find sheets.
