Hi,
I have just joined this site in the pursuit of a new mattress for my room. I have never slept on a latex mattress,I have slept on an innerspring with a tempurpedic topper ,but from what I have researched thus far they seem to have the contouring capabilities of a tempurpedic with the resilience of an innerspring and the adjustment capabilities of a sleep number ...Simply being that one has the option to adjust the firmness. In recent months ,saving my money,I have been looking at this http://www.sleepez.com/latex-mattress-buyers-guide.htm

...

Today I then stumbled upon this...

http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/forum/latex-flobed-sinks-middle-suggestions/6019-0-1.html .

I then Joined this site to reply to that thread as I have a similar problem with the beauty rest Queen mattress I have sinking in the middle as I am the only one who sleeps on it and I find myself in the middle . At that point I was considering contacting Sleep EZ to see what I could arrange to prevent this from happening if I purchased one of their Organic natural latex beds .As of that point I considered them to be the probable best to purchase a latex mattress from .

I then stumbled upon this

http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/reviews/greenmattressescom/560-0-1.html

I then decided to contact you with this message about comparing green mattresses to sleep EZ as you have posted a review about the dunlop Sleep EZ mattress in 2006... seen here http://www.whatsthebest-mattress.com/reviews/select-sleep-latex-bed/355-0-1.html

I now conclude that greenmattresses is a very nice looking product based on the review and what I see on their page but they leave me with questions that can be answered by sleep EZ.

Pros and comparisons I can see about greenmattresses:

1. its manufactured in America ,even though its still unclear in either website as to whether or not they must purchase the raw sap from outside the USA comparing this page http://greenmattresses.com/compare-imported-latex.html ... and this one ... http://www.sleepez.com/latex-mattress-buyers-guide.htm so there may be something I'm missing
2. They are extremely specific about the fact that they themselves manufacture the mattresses and include all services under one roof
3. The 20 year warranty, even though Sleep EZ offers a more specific warranty that is probably better and or more reasonable for both you and the company
4. The latex from IL from what I've read on Sleep EZ is derived 100% from the sap including no synthetic latex called 100% natural talalay so this doesn't contribute to byproducts of oil which is where synthetic latex comes from , however this apparently sacrifices durability and makes the latex fragile, and then again this doesn't seem to be a problem to me if one has a 20 year warranty, the only con then to consider is that its more expensive to manufacture but then to answer that is the price one pays
5. the latex is individually wrapped, in 3 layer thicknesses, In comparison to the sleep EZ mattresses I'm not sure if having more or less layers is good or bad
6. very friendly looking service

in conclusion to looking at the websites without your review I would hesitantly stake a bet on Sleep EZ being the better of the 2

I get away from the point though which is to find out what your experience is and what you recommend if anything.

any help you can be is really greatly appreciated

Best regards, James
