I hope, last two nights I have slept on the Costco/Sleep Science Latex bed without the 1 inch/sensus/overstock foam and no back pain, nada...

well, no lower back pain, i have something else going on but unrelated I think to the mattress

I just hope this continues...

is there a denser, firmer foam that i could try just for the heck of it, one inch to plush up the feel?  i.e. the sensus/pink foam was too soft

So the Sensus is too soft?  I wonder if it is legitimate from overstock.  Anyway, there does not seem to be much of a market for high quality 1" memory foam, if such a thing exists.

Your second option might be to try a soft 1" piece of Talalay latex.  Maybe 19-21 ILD.

Congratulations Randy. Did you flip to the "firm" side or stay with the "soft" side? I also am looking for a way to plush up my Costco/ latex and will share any success I have. Bob

Send the foam back to Overstock, I kid you not, they will take it.

Hate to be critical, but why would you order another mattress before you actually have tried the latex foam firm side????

I don't think you or Alice really gave this mattress a fair try.  Did you both flip both sides over?  Seems like you tried a few weeks, and that was it.

Latex does not sleep hotter than foam, not in my opinion.  Give this some time......

I think one week is not enough time......Your body does need time to adjust.
