Hi,

I purchased a platform bed and a latex and wool mattress.  We love the mattress, but the bed slats came with the ribbon on the wrong side so the mattress is poking thru the slats.  I'd like to replace the slats with a flexible slat foundation, but not the Euro Slat as that looks like a box spring and we don't have space for that.  Does anyone know where I can get the flexible slat foundation inexpensively?  The cheapest I've found online is $375.00 and that was for a Euro Slat.  Thanks.

Ikea has some inexpensive slatted foundations and even the slats themselves. Can you not turn your slats over? How far apart are the slats?
