SUPER EXCITED since I've been looking into this for over a year and a half now...  At any rate, I ordered the the Natural Organic Select Sleep 8500 bed from Sleep EZ in the 100% Natural Talalay.  In line with what all I've read on here, Shawn (and I asked him what was the correct spelling of his name - he said he was supposed to be named after "Sean Connery", but the nurse got it wrong...  hee!) was very helpful and more than happy to answer all my questions.  Since I had researched it quite a bit on here, and also had gotten some great suggestions from some of you, I already knew the firmness layers I wanted.  I ordered a queen-size bed with split sides (one of the advantages of being single, I ordered one side for my "stomach-sleeping" and one for my "side-sleeping")  :)  Side one is, from top to bottom, Med (~1.5") over Firm (~3") over X-Firm (~3").  Side two is Soft (~1.5") over Med (~3") over Firm (~3").  But this also gives me many options for switching things around, so I'll be sure to report back on my experiences in case it might help anyone else...  I'm on the east coast so Shawn estimated it should arrive end of next week/beginning of the following week.  I CAN'T WAIT!!!  :D

I too was researching the 10,000 vs. the 8500. would like to know how it worked out for you.
