Ergo system for Tempur-Pedic?

I was wondering if there were any generic ergo systems that would work w/a Tempur mattress or if you're stuck spending a fortune on the Tempur system.

I was at Mattressfim the other day looking at the Grand bed and some other TP beds. The salesman told me i could get a great deal on another brand for the adjustable base. He said the TP brand was overpriced, he offered to give me a great deal on the base if i put down a deposit. I tried it out and loved it, the massage was stornger then the TP model and it had nermouse features. Including the ability to set it from you iphone he claimed. I didn't put down the deposit because i was not ready to buy yet. But to answer your question there are other options. What was the price? I'm just interested in the up/down model I don't need "massage" That's just making it a vibrating bed.

I didn't put the depost doiwn so i'm not sure what the price was, we just talked in genral terms at that point. But in general the TP set would be over 10, maybe close to 11 total with the bed in all and there adjustable frame going by there site, but with the other brand it would be around 9,500. I'm serioulsy considering getting one myself, but i have a few lingering concerns before i make the buy. I will probaly go back tomorrow and I'll let you know what i find out. Oh, i should also mention this was for a CAL king.

If I could find an ergo base of some sort that would work with my TP bed for about $1k or less I may consider it.

He offered to give me 600 off the stand today. The adjsutable bed frame is called the Prodigy and is by Leggett and Platt and can be found for around 1499 online. After everything the grand bed would be around 11,200. after tax. I walked away and i think i will look at other beds.

He offered $600 off the $1,499? I love the Grand bed, but it is crazy overpriced.

Yeah, 600, i could tell he wanted the sale badly. The shell shock from this has made me want to to cut the bed budget to a more resaonable figure.

Isn't it $1,200 for a TP twin XL ergo w/o massage and $1,600 with massage? I know the iComfort adj. w/ massage twin XL is $1,600. I think the stores have a lot more leeway with the frames. He was willing to give me 400 off using a old TP sale on frames and he offered me two 100.00 gift cards if i came back in same day. If i go back i'm sure i could get more off, but i'm just not interested in it anymore in the grand bed.
