At first I thought this picture was a man with a mustache! Then I looked closer and see that it is a woman.  Undoubtably a gadget created for menopausal hot flashes/night sweats. That's not to say it wouldn't work well for anyone who may go to sleep covered and it is increasing heat that wakens them.

I personally can't imagine getting used to a "gentle" breeze blowing under our covers.  We use a loud and powerful floor fan near out bed as a white sound generator and air circulator and in combination with our ceiling fan we have all the air motion we need.  Maybe i could get used to air blowing directly across the body under the covers but - I don't think so.
